For Print Drying

High speed printing machines need an Infrared attachment to accelerate the drying process.IR can be used with all conventional printing inks except UV curing ones.

IR reduces the viscosity of the ink while in its liquid phase so it penetrates the paper more rapidly though absorption rates depend on the type of paper.

Most of the lamps used for print drying are clear ones. The choice of lamps would depend on the width of the paper to be heated and the machine speed. The most commonly used lamps are of 10" , 16", 20", 25", 30" and 40" heated length.
